Manager Colleague and Labor Relations

  The Manager of Colleague and Labor Relations is responsible for providing advice and counsel to staff and management regarding employment and labor relations issues. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws and regulations, internal policies, union contracts and the appeal and grievance processes. Conducts internal investigations and union grievance hearings, recommends policy development and revisions, and oversees the unemployment compensation process. Serves as the Lead for the Colleague and Labor Relations staff. Includes:Coachingcolleagueand/ormanagertoprepare forhearing and response, Provides consultationtomanagement,colleagues and C&LR team on employment matterstosupport the Core Values and Just Culture. Includes:Providingadviceandcounseloncolleague and laborrelations issues, corrective action, performancemanagement,discipline, and policyinterpretation as well as trackingcomplaints,maintainingcomplaintlog and conducting union grievance hearings. AssistsinthedevelopmentofHumanResources policies and procedures andEmployee Handbook.  Oversees the implementation ofcolleaguerelationspolicies and procedures. Develops,facilitatesandparticipatesintrainingrelatedtocolleagueandlaborrelationstopics. Assists in the preparation and process of union contract negotiations. Assists General Counsel in the preparation of Responses to externalagencydiscriminationcharges(EEOC,IDHR, CCCHR, etc.) and complaints. 00084352

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
